Wow! What a FABULOUS strand of vintage African Trade beads!!
This necklace started out, as a strand of Amazing and Unique Vintage & a few Antique "African Trade Beads" that a friend sent me several years, ago.

They were just strung on fishing wire. I loved their beauty & history. After a few years, I could not keep them just laying around.

I took them to a local specialty shop. I was told that they are all very old, some of which they do not see often. I had them make a Necklace I could actually wear, as all beads together were too heavy.

It is a Stunner, on. Pics do Not do them justice.
I hesitated, but have not worn it in a while. I loved wearing it in the Summer. But an Amazing Necklace for Anytime.
So, here they/it is!! I hope someone will love & enjoy them.
There are thirty seven of those BEAUTIFUL beads strung on a strong "wire?" the shop chose. not including the small one on the "extender." Lobster Clasp.

Weighty, but not uncomfortably so. Gorgeous!
Weighs: 4 oz/113 grams. Length is 20 inches. With the extender, end to end is 23".

For the most part, beads are all in great vintage condition. A few beads have small chips. Please look at photos for detail. Millefiori beads are handcrafted beads that have flower designs layered into them.

These beads can run you anywhere from $8 - $60 a piece. They are cherished for their history and age. To many, they are known as "African Trade Beads." Most Millefiori trade beads have traveled multiple contents, including Europe, Africa, and the United States.
