I listed these discs seperate but someone said it would be better to list them together and include the activation key so here it is.

Yes. Once, then uninstalled. MIcrosoft allows transfer of Ownership of software from one person to another as long as it is uninstalled from the previous owners computer first, which it is.

I have a question about why Microsoft packages 32 and 64 bit together

I think the product key can only be used on one or other -- not both

You are right. They key can only be used on ONE of the two at a TIME. but the key works on BOTH 32 and 64 bit versions.

"IF" you buy both and detemine later down the road that you need to use both on differnt computers you can buy a 2nd key code. Microsoft does offer key codes, And Rarely they offer discounted key codes for people who use both disks. It's happened to me 1 time. Out of the 14 differnt disks I bought over the years. I build computers as a hobby.
