Your comments should be directed to US postal service. I am collecting on their behalf. The money goes to them not me.

I understand what you are saying about the shipping but I would like to offer a suggestion. I ship hundreds of packages so i am very aware of postal rates...if you ship this in a FLAT RATE PRIORITY ENVELOPE or FLAT RATE SMALL BOX the cost will be either $4.90 for the envelope and $5.15 for the box. Delivery confirmation is included as is insurance. The boxes/envelopes are free so that cuts your cost way down...shipping flat rate (one price for as much as you can get in an envelope) is the best way to go....Now considering this is only one yard you could ship it first class for less than $4.00 plus the cost of delivery confirmation, insurance and envelope so see it is cheaper in the long run to use priority and that way your customers wont complain about the high cost of shipping. $7.00 is alot to ship this item....Another lady said "if you dont like the shipping cost, dont bid"...I would like to see you sell your items and quoting such a high shipping cost will definately deter people away from your auction....thought i would help you out...

One you ad tracking and insurance - that brings it up. I have had other people say" I never got my item" I must return the credits if they claim they never got the item. I cover all angles now. Some people have ruined it for others. Jane

I guess I am going to reask...what is the measurements of the squares. Just measure one square....one of the design squares on the fabric. I would have to agree with patrasbeary. I recieved one yard of material from VT yesterday and it cost $2.63 in a envelope. I want to make little door hanger pillows out of the squares. Thanks so much!

well i unfortunately i wont be bidding, i am on fixed income and was goig to bid on several of your auctions, but i see you dont combine shpping, so in that case i wont be able to afford your auctions, i can go to store and buy it cheaper than $7 per auction which is very steep in fhte first palce buti i win 3 or 4 that would be $28, i think that i s ridiculous you should rethink your pricin on shipping listia is not a place to make money but to share what you have with others, just myopionn sorry i cant be biddnin on your fabirc love it but.....

Sharon- postal rates are set by the US postal service not me. I agree with you that the rates that they charge is steep but again I don't set the rates. Insurance and tracking are placed on the item as I want to make sure that you get your item(s) and in the state that I send them to you. I am not out to make money and thus far shipping costs me more that I ask from people bidding on my item(s). You are free to go to any store to buy fabric but my fabrics are very unique and different that one can find. When you travel from store to store and spend your time shopping - that costs something also. Here on Listia is a one stop shopping place with great selections just before your eyes. I am sorry that you are on a limited income but you are not any different that many others. Maybe you can take your skill of sewing and make a few extra dollars to spend on whatever you choose or need. Kindest Regards, Jane
