These are are seeds from one of my favorite herbs and butterfly host plants, Bronze fennel. The Black Swallowtail lays its eggs upon the frilly foliage. Young plants start a bronze/purple color, maturing to bronze/green. It is a stately plant and smells wonderful when brushed against. This plant comes back many times the next year, but save seeds just in case. It has many uses in cooking or for herbal tea. The entire plant can be used. I even dry the thickest stalks for a fun treat for my dogs.

I will also combine any additional auction seeds (within 5 days) for no additional shipping charge. I am happy to say that my seeds tested 99-100% germination within 2 weeks at a temp of 65°F in the spring of 2012. Excellent for beginners!

Propagation Method: From seed, sow seeds indoors 6 weeks before last spring frost. Sow 3-5 seeds per pot. About 10 days before the last spring frost, begin hardening the plants to the outdoors. Transplant your plants to a sunny location.
