I meant to ask if this or one of your other soaps can be used as a "bar shampoo? Would you recommend it? Thanks!

Yes I would. I just shampooed my hair with it and my hair feels clean, smooth and conditioned.

I tend to use a high-keratin content shampoo on my own hair. However, I use goat's milk soap on my elderly mother's seborrhea of the scalp, which helps tremendously due to the healing properties of goat's milk. I think any bar of soap that has been hand-made using only the finest oils and no added synthetics is as fine for the hair, as it is for the skin. It takes a few washings for the hair to adjust to the new regimen, and be sure to also rinse with diluted apple cider vinegar to adjust pH and soften the hair.

Thank you so much. I really appreciate the information. To be honest, even spending the money on very expensive shampoos, I have used Dr Bronners liquid Castile soap, added oil to it and used it to wash my hair. I have used bar shampoo from Lush before & liked them. Just gets very costly. This is great to know! Thanks again!
