FREE: my pit bull is my family

I found my pitbull at a gas station in the middle of nowhere....he had been hit by a car and have old and new sores on him everywhere. I took him home about 200 miles away from where I found him...My husband and I cleaned him up that is when we relized he was used for fighting. He is a very good dog as long as he is the only dog....Took us about 9 months for him to be able to be around our other dog without him trying to go for his neck.....we still have both of them and they get along great they have thier tiffs every now and then but they are both part of our families....AND for whoever says that" FIGHTING PITBULLS" cant be trusted around children they are full of it he is the MOST gentle animal I have ever met and has never once growled or even snapped at my 1 and 2 year olds they can put their hands all the way down thier mouth can ride him and he wont harm a inch of hair on their bodies I love my Jaggar!!!

we have rescued 3 pitbull for diffrent reasons and have found them forever loving homes... one of ours is a rescue. We have 5..Our pits r our FAMILY:)

Jagger is my baby I don't think that it was a matter of right place right time I think it was fate that brought him to our family he is very loving I don't understand how people could be so mean to him

You both are right. I have been raised around pitbull my whole life and never has one ever growled.





About 2 or 3 months ago: My brother Female was in heat and ran next door, and was ruff playing with a male that the neighbor had tied up in the front yard.The owner of the other dog grabbed a shovel and was shaking trying to run her off. she grab ed the end and was shaking it..He called the police and they showed up 30 mins later.When the cops got there my bros dog was lying down on the ground. When the cop approached my brothers female she got up and went to the cop wagging her tale the police officer shot her it grazed her then shot again and shattered her knee. they had to have her leg amputated. On the news they put the story all twisted they said the dogs were fighting. But the neighbor talked to my brother and told him what happened. He said she did scare him a little bit but once he relized his dog n her were playing he called the cops back and told them not to come he had everything under control. Sad Sad...she is a very sweet loving family dog and now she has to cope with having 3 legs. the first couple weeks after this happened she was very scared of everything like loud noises, was scared to go outside...

well my picture is blaze she is 1 1/2 years old had her cense she was 4 week old she is a lab/bit and my baby we go for car ride she is the best i had my dought about getting a pit but not anymore would love to someday have full blooded pit she lives with two weenier dogs and they rule her she is a baby and great with kids
