I'm not 100% sure how this works, (I would call the number to get more information if you won & I believe thats how you order the gift card as well) I did look at the link & shouldn't have a problem doing a gift card from there. =]

Hi! Just wanted to check to see if the winner will recieve the card just like it is new- WITHOUT the back of the card/cards being scratched-off to reveal the card # or the activation or pin # ?? ...In other words, it will STILL be completely covered & secure??

Don't be sorry. Questions are encouraged! I will be purchasing the gift card(s) new so I would assume they would be unscratched, I can make sure of this when purchasing it. I myself have no reason to reveal the code/pin. So winner if they choose to have the gift card mailed will recieve the gift card(s) covered/secure.This would be sent with delivery confirmation. I can't remember if I stated this already, but I will get a tracking number with it.

One rotten egg ruined it for the masses that's why Visa is no longer allowed! and it's a darn shame too b/c a lot of us relied on them for helping to defray costs of medicine, food , etc. But great auction Chelsey..will be watching for sure! :)

Yes, I heard bits & pieces about this resulting after someone listed a visa gift card auction. I loved the visa gift cards because of the fact you can use them anywhere for anything. I'm pretty sure most people on listia found the visa gift cards as a great asset. When I first heard of visa gift cards not be allowed I looked under the gift card section of listia & I don't know about you but I thought there seemed to be a lot less gift card auctions. There used to be more pages of them from what I remember. So when I listed my auction I decided I would offer multiple gift cards instead of just one gift card to one store/place totaling either $50 or $100. Hopefully this will help some. I myself have had time when I had a gift card of $50 to a store but only needed to spend say $25 there then what are you suppose to do? You still have money left over but you can only use it at that one place. It can be a pain.

I just checked under Prohibited Auction Items and this is one of them: Prepaid credit cards (or money gift cards) from American Express, Discover, MasterCard, or Visa. You can view this under rules. I wouldn't have a problem with offering one, but I do want to follow listia rules.
