Plant these as benificial organic pest control for your organic vegetable garden. Bi-color, bright mahogany red blossoms with gold markings are 2 inches across. Early and free blooming. I only water my seeds and seedlings, as they tend to be very drought tolerant. They are an annual in colder zones, but will self-seed for many years of enjoyment. I believe the "strong shall survive" in my garden. You will appreciate my motto!

Propagation Method: From seed, sow seeds indoors 6 weeks before last spring frost. Sow 3-5 seeds per pot. About 10 days before the last spring frost, begin hardening the plants to the outdoors. Transplant your plants to a sunny location.
