You are bidding on two of the first Thomas the train and his best friend Salty. These are the wooden trains. They do not make these anymore. All the trains are now made out of metal. These would be a great gift for any Thomas the train collector! Both trains have little chips in the paint due to my son playing with them. They are still in super condition considering they are almost ten years old. This is a great auction and I hope they go to a great Thomas the train loving family! I always ship for free. My son who is now 10 has thousands of dollars in Thomas the Train things. I have spent years collecting things. We are just now to the point of where he likes other things. So it's time to weed out some stuff. These are very hard to find now a days. I have so many other things I will be posting so stay tuned!

My son played with them on his tracks that snap together. I held them up side by side with the metal ones and they are the same as I can see

I hope so because I always have people who think I should ship out the next day after the auction. There are rules in place and I follow them to a tee. I just think its rude to complain about shipping right after u win the auction. Thanks for being understanding!

roxannearmbrust: The wooden train set is not compatible with the diecast ones. The die cast's trains has narrower wheels. Hope that helps!

No your wrong! I have both kinds and they work on either tracks! Please notice the picture I have taken with the wooden trains on the new plastic snap together tracks but thanks for trying to help!
