i don't know it dosn't say so i'm assuming it is because when a new edition comes out i think would then say second,third and so on but i can't say for sure

This is the first english edition. The actual first edition is from Austia, copyright 1923. This would be a farily valuable book with the dust jacket. As is, from what I can tell from the condition, it's probably a 25 dollar book. I'd still love to have it for my collection though. Great find.
