The listing, Fish Poacher - Aluminum Made in Italy has ended.

Up for bid is a unique fish three piece poacher. It is all aluminum. The main body has large handles for ease of use. It is very high quality, made in Italy. I can't quite read the markings on the bottom except for that.

It measures about 17" long, not including handles. It's around 6" wide and 3" tall.

There is a piece with holes to put the fish on. There are handles on this as well, making it easy to lift out the cooked food.

I almost listed this in antiques instead of kitchen, as it is quite old. It is in excellent condition, no dents or other mars.

It is quite light as far as shipping weight, but sort of large. The poacher itself weighs just over a pound.

I would assume you use this on tip of the stove and not in the oven. Is that correct?

I think you could use it either in the oven or on the stove, although it makes more sense to me that the oven would be used due to the shape. I inherited this and never used it as hubby is not a fish lover.
