No this one is not a rip off , as you eloquently put it.
The number one rule for buyers is: You Guessed It,
Carefully read listing information and descriptions before bidding.

Yeah that's what the title says. And 11,500 credits per $1.00 I think I'll definately pass. For every 1,500 it's $5.00 for 3,300 credits it's $10.00 and so on Pretty geedy if you ask me

ya your right it is pretty greedy of these people thinking they are going to pick up a hundred dollar card for 500 credits. I agree!!!

It is 1,150 credits for each dollar not 11,500 ,so a $5.00 would be 5,750

Why do you have 125000 for gin when the rewards store charges 100,000 for a $100 card?
Jan 3rd, 2013 at 1:37:34 PM PST by
Original
several reasons , but here are a couple
1. I get charged fees 10% for GIN 12,500 and 2,000 fee for listing. I will be willing to bet Listia does not charge themselves any of these fees.
2. I would also be willing to bet that Listia gets some kind of discount from Amazon ( 5-20% discount for these cards) not only for all the advertising they give amazon but from the amount of cards they purchase.

Oh ya, someone said something about the seller changing the title.... That is their perogative!! If there are no bids, you can change it. If there were bids, then you can only edit it. So I guess if you saw the title different, you should have bid on it!

yup this is the third auction i have seen where the seller is ripping people off with how they word their titles. i have seen 2 from this seller and the other is for "49 DVDs" in which you get one or use the GIN and get 2.

I can't believe some of the comments on here and how rude some people are!! It's a TIERED AUCTION people... many sellers have them on Listia and it's perfectly fine to do so. This person is a legit seller and does high dollar gift cards all the time with very satisfied buyers.

Where were all you people complaining about rip-offs during Christmas? Many auctions were deleted and dozens of honest people (including myself and this seller) were ripped-off. Funny how some of you people commenting were the ones "falling for" fake gift card auctions and believing fraudulent sellers and their "stories". Yes, some of you were defending those thieves! Yet you give this honest seller who is offering a tiered auction, a hard time... all because some you have very little reading comprehension or are jumping on the bandwagon with others!

This seller isn't ripping anyone off...the amount of the gift card is based on how many credits you can spend which gives everyone a chance to bid and not just those with 100K credits or more. I bet all of you being rude/complaining aren't offering $100 gift cards for a few thousand credits, are you? Of course not! If you don't like tiered auctions, don't bid! It's very simple! But don't go and leave rude comments on someone's auction because you failed to read correctly! Unless of course, you'd like rude comments left all over your auctions!

And BTW... Listia Rewards only offers gift cards to ONE STORE - Amazon. If you want a gift card to a different store, it may cost you a little more. And if a couple of you are going to be rude and complain about how many credits it costs, you should at least take the time to learn how to add correctly!! Funny... I noticed that a few of these people who are complaining have a 90% or 95% feedback rating because they failed to ship some buyers the items they won!! Now... WHO is the one that is ripping people off?? Hypocrites!!
