This is a very nice set of KOSS headphones. The left and right lobe speakers work great. The sound is amazingly clear and super loud. I would keep them but I got new ones for Christmas. Happy Bidding!!!

Idk the model number as they were given to me out of the package. I cannot say if they are better than IPOD headphones as I have never used them, so I could not offer a specific comparison. The bass level would determine what device you are using them on. I used them on my android and the sound was clear and very loud. I'm sorry that I can't provide any more information for you.
