The listing, Old Timey Wooden Purse has ended.

i found this gem of a purse at a yard sale, half moon shaped, medium oak vanish finished(i think), has decales of old ads and early day women and on the inside has an oval mirror on the top. Strap and latch could be leather but i am not sure. Measures 7" high, 8" wide and 4 1/2" deep. Strap from the goldtone attachment to middle is 12".
Weight of item is without the shipping box is: 10.1 oz.

If you are the winner of my auction, I need an mailing verified Listia address from you with 7 days of auction(via Listia rules)not a email address and if I don't hear back from you, than I will keep the credits and repost the item.

Here is a formula on how to do an estimated calculation on exact shipping:

go to usps.com and select calculate price, put in my zip code(from the location spot), than put in ur zip code, pick the package selection, when u hit that the weight will come up, i will have the weight of the item only without the box in the description, that will bring up a whole list of ways to do postage.

Usually the only way I send anything out is via parcel post or first class(because they are the cheapest form of postage), tracking is extra so that is another 75 to 85 cents add to postage(u pay that just let me know if u would like it before I give you the exact shipping after the auction). also if paypal is used than will charge a 75 cent fee extra because that is what they charge me.

My grand mother had one almost identical to this one that she used as a sewing box. I remember I used to think it was so neat and asked about it when she passed but it got lost somehow through the years. I have always wanted one because of my grands but alas I don't have the credits to get it. It is quite unique so who ever gets it will have a real treasure. fanned and watching anyway. Milley i got a whole totally different amount from u. I use either First Class Parcel or Parcel post shipping and i came up an amount between $3.31 and $5.35.

I don't think this purse is homemade , it is vintage for sure. I think at one time it may have had some sort of pattern , but over time it became worn. That is just my theory. I am just a devoted handbag lover n seller.
