Includes Rune Factory 3 A Fantasy Harvest Moon game cartridge and booklet inside original case. Has been opened and used but in good condition, aside from some damage to the front of the case (sticker residue and scratches). Please look at all of the photos carefully before bidding.

is this game anything like final fantasy when it comes to the game play

I can't say, I've never really played any Final Fantasy games.

Rune Factory is a roleplay/simulation game, so you may like it. You have to defeat each boss to unlock a new region and progress through the story line, and your other goal is to befriend and marry your heroine of choice. The fighting is solo (you can bring along up to 1 other character if you have a high enough relationship level) and real-time and there several different weapons to choose from. There's also farming, crafting, smithing, cooking, and monster taming. Side quests are available to help you earn extra money and intimacy with characters.

If you've ever played Harvest Moon, it's similar but with combat and more fantasy elements, and less focus on maintaining a farm and raising a family. I think Rune Factory 3 is one of the better games in the series and one of my favorite DS games.
