The listing, Rare Flying Dragon Citrus Tree ~Seeds~ has ended.

THE AUCTION IS FOR 15 SEEDS, READY TO PLANT!
JUST ADDED 2 MORE PICS OF THE SEEDLINGS GROWTH SINCE I POSTED THE AUCTION! I MOVED THEM TO A POT, AND THEY ARE DOING WELL!!

NOTICE: ~ 1ST 3 PHOTOS ARE STOCK. ~ THE LAST 3 ARE MY MOTHER TREE THE SEEDS COME FROM, AND MY SEEDLINGS PLANTED FROM THE TREE 3 MONTHS AGO.. MY TREE IS AT LEAST 8 FT. TALL!

FLYING DRAGON TRIFOLIATE CITRUS

Striking variety with curly stems and hooked thorns, making a stunning display when leafless in winter.
Large white fragrant 2" flowers before the leaves, followed by very fragrant 2" fruits ("Dragon's Eggs").
Deciduous small tree to 8 feet (smaller than the type, so easier to keep trimmed), hardy to Chicago. Zone 5.
Makes a nice, deer-proof 'living barbed wire fence' planted 2 feet apart, and because the thorns are curved, they are not a hazard to tractor tires if branches get left on the ground after trimming.
.
Comes 95% true from seed.
Germinates best in the dark, cover seed well.

I live in SC, and mine thrives well, and has been here for years!

Not to my knowledge. I suppose it's up to the owner. Thanks for your question.

can you eat the fruit or is it ornamental. If eatable what does it taste like? I never heard of it and interested thanks :)

Seems they are Japanese bitter oranges. The juice is similar to a lemon. I read you can make a lemonade out of it. Most feedback says it is a beautiful tree. The only drawback is those pesky thorns.birds like em too.

Ah! Mine has a birds nest in it, which I thought was smart! Not much is going to climb THAT tree to get to the nest! :) I read some people use them for natural border around their property to keep people out! ha! I have new seedlings and thought I'd try to bonsai one. They are very interesting. Mine is huge and over 8 ft!
Thanks for the info!
