do you have the cd to set it up, or you have to send the pass word, ssid, and security key. to get it to work. i'v goten to of them off listia and didn't have info to hook them up. thanks

no i simply googled the model and got the ip address and password to hook it up. It only comes with what i stated...

It is a version 6, it says it on the picture on the underside, there are lots of these type, ver 1 - 9 I think, usually the ip 192.168.1.1 although don't trust that, check out the Wikipedia page for facts, and I believe the user-id is ADMIN, although, you know, check out the wiki and the password is either nothing, or admin. Check the wiki, there is a little button, that resets it, it should be on the front or the back by the power supply, hold that button in after turning on the router for about 20 seconds or so, you will see the lights flicker and then you can login with the admin, account. instead of guessing, check out the Wikipedia link for wrt54g routers, it is an awesome wiki and you will be an expert in less than a minute, Good luck, check out the wiki for best answers.

losangeles...you can use it as a repeater if you flash it with dd-wrt. this being a version 6 that is possible but you need to know what you're doing.
