The listing, 1969 Topps baseball card lot w/ Denny McLain CL has ended.
Here's a lot of eight (8) vintage 1969 Topps baseball cards (NOT reprints). Please note this is a lower-grade condition lot, with all cards having creases and/or other issues. But then again, these cards are 44 years old. Neat bit of history, but if you're picky about condition, this is not the auction for you.
DENNY MCLAIN [checklist] had some great years in the late '60s for the Tigers, including an amazing '68 when he won 31 games and got the Cy and MVP.
White Sox Rookie Stars ED HERRMANN & DAN LAZAR - Ed was an All-Star in 1974.
BRUCE HOWARD (P, Senators) was in the majors for 6 years, with '68 being his last, so this is his final card.
RAY OYLER (SS, Pilots) was a light-hitting shortstop on the '68 Detroit champs. He was the third player chosen by the Seattle Pilots in the '69 expansion draft.
TOMMIE SISK (P, Pirates) played nine years in the major leagues, primarily with Pittsburgh.
FRANK QUILICI (IF, Twins) was with Minnesota for many years, first as a light-hitting infielder, later joining the coaching staff, then as a radio broadcaster.
RUSS GIBSON (C, Red Sox) spent a few years as a backup catcher for Boston and the Giants.
JOSE TARTABULL (OF, Red Sox) had some good years with Boston and the Athletics, though is likely better known as Danny Tartabull's dad.
