What you see pictured is left over yarn from a project. It is all the same, but as you can see it is a variegated yarn. The colors are chocolate brown and light blue. The texture is slightly like a boulche, but light weight (see third picture for closeup). The total weight of all you see here comes in at 313 grams (11 ounces).

I am not 100% sure as I don't have the label, but if I had to guess I would say it is probably an acrylic mix. Hope this helps.

I mostly make scarves at this time, it is all I can do so far, there is more than enough for that I am sure, I don't understand the weight part yet.

This is Joann Sensations Casual Boucle. I have it in several other colors, and have seen this particular color at Joanns. It's a worsted weight #4, and typically comes in an 11 oz, 853 yard skein (not a typo, lol yes, 853 yards). 88% acrylic, 12% nylon. I checked the 4 colors I have and they all say the same thing.
