Do you know if there is a difference between wireless N and wireless G?

Wireless N uses a technology known in the industry as MIMO. This stands for multiple input, multiple output. In effect, instead of a device having a single antenna, it has multiple antennae that are arranged so as to have maximum transmitting power, and maximum reception. Well, I guess what I want to know is will yours work on my setup. I was using a wireless G usb network adapter. My daughter said it would work with either the router or the network adapter.

To be honest, I don't know. I don't think it will though, the box says Windows. I don't have an xbox so no way to check for sure.
