Description

The listing, *Unique* Sterling Silver Ring, Tourmaline & Citrine size 7 has ended.

Up for your bidding pleasure is a unique, sterling silver ring with hand-set green tourmaline & citrine stones. I made this when I was trying my hand at stone setting. Turns out I am much better at creating organic shapes in my jewelry, rather than something so rigid. The center stone is slightly cockeyed, tho not noticeable at all while wearing it. The band has noticeable hammer marks, as I tried to enlarge...again not noticeable while wearing. It is stamped 925, tho nearly impossible to make out after I worked the band. I can verify it is sterling though, as that is all i work with....and I purchased the setting. I'd estimate the center stone to be approximately 6x8mm...tho not certain. If you can enjoy and overlook its flaws, you can celebrate its beauty.....as that is the only thing others will notice :)

if it really bothered anyone it wouldn't take much to correct since it's such a pretty ring.

Just curious, do you know what the place of origin the tourmaline is from?

not off hand. I know I have paperwork on it somewhere...I will try to locate.....I bought a bunch of gems at an auction and received authenticity papers....but, I'm not sure if they indicate the origin.

Is that dark green close to a black or noticably green?
