Description

The listing, 5 in 1 Small Pet Bed/Hammock/Tunnel has ended.

I make these with a friend of mine. They are handcrafted in Alaska and we sell them at a retail price of $15.00 each. These cute little 5 in 1 small pet accessories have a variety of uses. They are sized for hamsters, gerbils, mice, and small rats. They are made with felt and real beaver fur. The real fur helps insulate the tunnel/bed and keep it extra warm. It provides single-living creatures with the same sense of comfort they would get from cuddling with a fellow critter. It gives them a sense of security while also keeping them warm. It's great for animals who live in colder homes (in northern US, Canada, and northern Europe), because it helps insulate their heat- keeping them warm and preventing illness by stimulating their immune system.

This accessory can be used one of five ways!
1 Tunnel: Just outstretch the tunnel and let your critter explore.
2 Bed: Twist the two end rings in opposite directions until the tunnel collapses and creates a neat little bed area.
3 Corner Tunnel: Bend your tunnel into a corner to create a space for your critter to hide in the shadows.
4 Hanging Hammock: Attatch optional hooks and hang the tunnel from the top or side of the cage.
5 Hanging Nest: Twist the sides together to create the bed, then attatch optional hooks and hang the nest from the top or side of the cage.

This item comes from a smoke-free enviornment and will be shipped via USPS First Class from Alaska. Our mail is a bit slow, but I'll provide a tracking number as soon as it's shipped. This is my fourth auction, but my first pet stuff auction. I'm super excited about it! :)

Yep! I am. :) I lost my password and my email that had that password- so I had to create a new username. My old one was 'lonealasangypsy'.

Thank you! It may be a bit small for larger rats. The openings are about the size of a wrist bangle. And it's about 5 to 6 inches in length. But smaller rats love it. :)

It can be washed in a washing machine- with a cold and delicate setting. Don't machine dry it- simply hang it to dry.

Thank you! I love mice too! I have gerbils- which I suppose are much different than mice. But they adore this. I'm sure mice would love it even more (because they're not avid diggers). :)

Aww, I'm glad! I have a ferret one that I made for you, but then (like I mentioned) I lost my account information. Would you like it? You can send me a private message and I can ship it off to you if you'd like.

How small are they? I have a med. sized hairless rat ( Fluffy) and he would really like this!

The opening is about 3 inches in diameter, and the tunnel- when fully stretched out, is about 5 inches in length.

I have a chinchilla that I just recently got. Do u think he would like something like that? Is it too small for a chinchilla? Hes small right now but is not done growing. :o)

It's a bit too small for a chinchilla. Chinchilla's are pretty temperature-sensative and get overheated easily- so cloth tunnels aren't ideal. Wooden tunnels are great for them though! So unfortunately I don't think this one would fit or be good for a chinchilla. Sorry. Thanks for your interest though! And give your chinchilla a cuddle for me. They're so adorable!
