The listing, Carnival glass dish has ended.

This is a beautiful blue carnival glass dish that I have been using to hold cotton balls in my bathroom for about 15 years. It was older when I first got it. The 2 photos that show a 'ring' on the top are the outside of the dish. The last 2 photos are of the inside of the dish. There is nothing stamped or imprinted on this dish anywhere. It is heavy and solid glass. It is not cracked in any way. There is a broken tip on one of the points, but you cannot see it with the naked eye. Great condition and clean of dust. Beautiful to look at. It catches the light very well.

This is not carnival glass. Actually, it is something nicer. this is Murano Italian pressed glass! I should have mentioned this earlier. I hope you do very well with this auction.

I have been doing some research online and feel that my piece may not be carnival glass as it lacks the metallic spray used on the exterior of the carnival glass pieces. Just want to be honest.

I have carnival glass dating back to 1910 none "marked". All of my carnival is iridescent.
This blue glass is beautiful!! Looks like pressed glass. F&W

I agree that it is not Carnival Glass but it does look like pressed glass. If this is Murano as appraiser_ed stated, this is worth more than carnival glass in most instances.

BTW not all Carnival Glass is marked. I have several pieces that are not marked.

This is Carnival Glass. Most carnival is Iridescent, but not all carnival is Marked either. Mother in Law has LOTS of carnival... but i agree with above comment does look liked pressed Glass ;)

Thank you. I think it is pretty too. I didn't know about whether carnival glass were all stamped or not. I know some of my McCoy dishes aren't stamped, although all are authentic. Good to know. Thanks!
