The listing, Old double barrel cap gun has ended.

This is a swallow made cap gun. That's all it has on it. I remember them from when i was a boy. So I'm guessing it's about 40 to 45 years old.It's about 4 inches long. Looks like an old German pistol. Don't know much else. If any one does please let me know. Good luck.

I had one of these same model cap guns when I was 8 years old back in 1978 .
This model cap gun was made in 1958 but wasn't put out on the market / in stores till 1959. It was a nice toy to have back then but now it is a nice collectors Item .
That is what I know about them .

Such a great memory you just gave me. (thank you) My grandma made a ceramic mold of a cap gun. My grandpa made sure I received the ceramic gun. The mold is long one now. I often wondered who would appreciate it. It might become a Listia item.

It takes the old red paper role caps. The role would fit inside the gun and as each "dot" of powder was spent the paper would come up from the gun as another cap was brought up into place by the trigger. I loved mine. Yes, I was a tomboy.
