The listing, Old Japanese whistle has ended.

Don't really know much about this whistle. It's old and has japan on it. I've never seen one like it. If you know anything about it please let me know. Good luck bidding.

it sounds good. i mean, i don't know what to tell you about that. It has a metal flap inside instead of a ball.

I am a Japanese and know in our history hand crafted whistles were/still is popular in Europe.
I found very similar whistle at whistlemuseum.com
I believe your whistle is from 40's.
