Fantastic sets for kids or grown ups to create wrapping paper , cards and other things! Would make neat gifts for other stampers too I would think. I have these sets so am not bidding, just watching. But it a person gets their Holiday cards done now, one less thing to have to get done when Winter gets here :) Best of Luck on your auction!
Thanks for the kind words. I'm really into making cards lately. I need more stamps that have words on them. Getting rid of my foam and changing to all wooden OR clings. Almost done with the Christmas cards. Thanks again! Pam
You know it's easy to change them over don't you? And you can change them to wood or cling. I buy the grey foam that has cling on one side and sticks to the stamp back after you peel the foam stamper off of it. Or you can get the sticky on both sides and stick it to a wood block. Various craft supply companies online have the foam mounting foam. But it's easy to do if you have other stamps you don't want to get rid of. I like to share ideas on here for people who did not know.
You're Welcome so much! I have been stamping for many years and just love how all these new products like this have come out ,for those of us who want to,to be able to do things ourselves. Especially with $ as tight as it has become for most people, we might not be able to still do the mind relaxing crafts if we had to pay $20 per stamp. But if you know someome who sells close to my heart or stampin up, I think both of those companies sell the foam, and I sometimes see it am michaels craft store. You can also use that craft foam stuff in the color of your choice and glue it, be sure not to use water soluble glue tho or the glue may have a problem it the stamp gets wet. I use contact cement or Aleene's OK to Wash It~ says it's for fabric but has been working on stamps for me for over 5 years! Have fun Everybody !
I do know of someone that sells Close to My Heart stamps. I'll check with her this week. Well, next time I will know better! Just love Aleene's glue and miss her show with her daughters. Thanks so much for all the helpful hints--I appreciate it! Have a super weekend!
I took all of the stamps off of my wooden blocks via the microwave technique and stuck them in an old CD case. I stamped them on a piece of paper that fit into the CD case so I could know what was where. I've had no issues with them not sticking to those acrylic blocks either! They work perfectly. Now, what to do with those wooden blocks?!? Make dollhouse furniture out of them! ;) ♥
