I have decided to do a fun stuffed box auction...I am changing this auction from what it was before (a necklace), because nobody bid on the item at all for ages and it made me sad so I had to make it more interesting!

The beginnings of this hoard are 3 colors of crystal rondelles that I acquired here on Listia. You can look back in my feedback if you want. :)

The colors are called AB Lavender Rose, Lavender Rose, and AB Light Blue.

In the AB Lavender Rose, there are 24 12mm rondelles and 27 10mm rondelles.

In the AB Light Blue, there are 24 12mm rondelles and 35 8mm rondelles.

In the Lavender Rose, there are 26 10mm rondelles and 35 8mm rondelles.

AND I've just now added 8 more photos of the new additions for today, which are:

50+ dyed stone beads, sometimes called mosaic beads

a strand of small faux turquoise and antiqued silver beads that coordinate nicely

6 red coral beads

10 turquoise blue translucent glass beads

65+ black glass faux pearls

and more to come! :) The box is about half full now...what's coming next???

Wow! I love it!! I am new to listia and I like what I see. I hope I have enough credits to win this box. I can imagine the excitement of going through the box and seeing what all is there. I really want to be clear again, this is not a tiered auction. The winning bidder receives the entire box regardless of the final bid amount.

Tiered auctions are ones in which more is included based on how many credits are bid. One of my favorite sellers, natahoa, does them frequently.

I don't like them because they set people up for disappointment in my opinion. Bidder wins having seen a title that says Win Up To 12 but their bid amount entitled them to only two.

There is nothing dishonest about them...I'm just not fond of the concept. I think life is disappointing enough on its own.

Well, how about it?

First, I hate GIN. It's difficult to decide on a "price", and I either set it too low and give away the item for too little, or set it too high and no one grabs it.

Second, how would I set a GIN for something I'm still adding to? Imagine that..."Here's a few of the beads you will get, but pay me this huge chunk of credits and I'll fill the box!" Nobody would want that...everyone would be commenting about why I didn't show the rest of what was in the box...

Third, this is a comment auction where I was hoping to interact with fellow Listians and if I ended this with a GIN I wouldn't get that. Now why would I want to do that, hmmmmm??? :)
