Yellow watermelon? That's right, and so good! This melon is so sweet and juicy that you can eat most of the rind too.
Citrullus lanatus 'Early Moonbeam' is one of the best melons for northern climates. 'Early Moonbeam' is sweet, early and productive. Yellow fleshed with a thin rind. Direct seed in rows 4-6 ft apart. Grow in hills with 3-4 plants/hill. Harvesting tips: ripe when the second tendril closest to the fruit withers and turns brown and melon sounds hollow when tapped. This variety is an American Heirloom. Space 3 to 4 feet apart. Planting depth: .5-1 inch. Days to germination: 3-8 days. 80 days to maturity.

Did you take care to prevent cross pollination? Is there any chance that these could have crossed with cucumber, zucchini, other melons etc???

Not from my garden. I only grew these, tomatoes, and peppers last year.
