The listing, Vintage Reader's DIgest Magazines. Circa 1940. Eight magazines has ended.

Eight Reader's Digest vintage magazines. Dated - December, 1945 - March, 1946 - April, 1946 - May, 1946 - June, 1946 - July, 1946 - April, 1947 - July, 1947. Counter price for these was 25cents. All covers are worn a bit and I will describe any that are more than normal for the age. Dec. 1945 appears to have something set on it that was oily but it is cover only. April,1946 has the cover almost off. Have the front cover but back one is missing. May, 1948 is torn away from spine a bit on bottom. July 1946 has a torn place on cover right bottom. See photos of each book for more details.

I can offer free shipping as long as you are aware that I cannot ship until after the 3rd when my SS check arrives. I have gone way over my shipping budget for March. This will start my budget for April. If you have a problem with waiting, please don't bid or ask for shipping costs and you can pay to have them shipped earlier. Thank you for understanding. I can do free shipping if you understand that I am over my limit of free shipping for March already. If you can wait until April 3rd when we get our SS check again I will glady pack them and get them ready to ship to you free. It will probably be the 4th before they go out as I always have so much to do on payday. That will start my April budget for shipping. Just bid and remind me if you win them. Just did that for you. Also made some of my other things like books free if they will wait til my next SS check comes in. Thanks. Hope your husband enjoys them. I was born in 1946 and really got a kick out of these books. In fact, if I remember right, there is March of 1946 which was the month I was born and it was fascinating to read what was going on at that time.

I would be fascinated also if i could read one from my birth year. I remember my great grandmother having a whole book shelf of these out on her covered front porch. I could read them for hours. I have some from the 70's and 80's myself. My hubby has only a few and I'm not sure what years they are. Thanks. He'll be happy to get these.
