Huge, beautiful, yellow-petalled blossoms produce flower head w/hundreds of plump, striped, thin shelled edible seeds.

Grows 6-12’ tall. Single stemmed.

Harvest seeds at the end of the season for snacking or leave head on stem for the native birds to feast on at the end of summer.

Stem will stay upright and sturdy long after petals fall and stalk dries making a perfect bird feeder.
