When I moved, which was 2 days after receiving it, everything was put back in box except remote. All paperwork and instructions are in box. Yes power supply and HDMI cable are there as well.

you can actually control this through your smartphone download the roku remote, actually works better than the original remote!! it's in google play store

roku account is free, but if want netflix which i have is 7.99 a month. in the roku channel store there is free channels. including crackle which has decent movies. when you create your roku account it does ask for a CC , BUT ITS ONLY USED TO RENT MOVIES, OR SUBSCRIBE TO PAY CHANNELS. You can set a code to avoid unauthorized purchases

For iPhone users, there is an app in the apple App Store to use your iPhone as a remote as well. I use my iPhone as the remote more than the actual remote.
