I myself has just recently started making jewelry so I will do my best to explain ... this bail slides over a a chain or bracelet and has a ring on the end for someone to add more beads or charms so it would dangle. I hope that helps

I am new to jewelery making and Im not quite sure what Tibetan silver is made of so I looked it up and found out that Modern Tibetan silver is usually cast from a mixture of copper, nickel and a small amount of silver; some Tibetan silver also contains zinc. I hope this helps. Sorry i couldn't be more informative.
