These were my mother's wedding earrings. They are clip. They have the matching cuff links I am also posting if you are interested in the set. My parents were married in 1956. They are called Diffraction Jewels. I found the earrings in the original cuff link box & a card about them, which will go with the links. I do not know anything else about them. Mom is gone now & haven't spoken to my father since mom's funeral. My parents were not rich & I do not know if they were a gift.
