Were used by my daughter when she did kick boxing for about 2 weeks...maybe someone else has stuck with it or wants to give it a try and needs these gloves...
They open up and close with velcro and are nicely padded...good deal!!!

Thanks, she was in her early twenties...but, she's very tiny (5'1") and has small hands. :) I'm not sure if they're a child's large and neither is she. :)
