Not Antique but Vintage Hematite Saints bracelet. Beautiful pictures of saints on each hematite square. Stretch bracelet. Lovely bracelet given to me as a gift many years ago by a little girl. I taught first grade and the children would give me gifts for various occasions. I got this in the early 90's but it wasn't new when I got it. She told me her grandma gave it to her and said she could give it to me. Very sweet. I don't wear religious jewelry (except for a few times that school year just for her) so after sitting in my jewelry box for years it is time to go to someone else.

Hematite is a very heavy stone. Is the bracelet heavy? Are the pictures painted on or glued on? Interesting bracelet! Watching~~

Yes it is heavy. The pics are smoothly on the bracelet. they are adhered to the surface somehow. It almost seems like they are under a bubble of glass or some kind of hard clear stuff. You can't feel the ridge of the picture. Hope that helps.
