There is no difference in size. Size 7.5 is (approx) 17.75mm in diameter. Now, whether you are a man or a woman, 17.75mm is 17.75mm no matter what! Lol! So, he is a 7.5. The difference comes into play when you get into a much wider band. Which, more men than woman wear. the band then fits a little different, so they recommend getting a little larger size. Hope I explained that ok. =)
