Marshall Andrew Barkley is assigned to capture, if he can, outlaw Tom Tanner who has cached some $200,000 in gold in an unknown hideaway. The dangerous game becomes more hazardous when a powerful rancher counts himself in on the scramble for the gold. Barkley and Tanner link up to counter Galt and his evil henchmen before continuing their own private feud. In a large scale gun duel between the opposing forces, Tanner kills Galt. A terrific fist fight follows between Barkley and Tanner. It turns into a gory brawl.
