The listing, Web Cam by Logitech NIB has ended.

This is the QuickCam Pro 9000 made by Logitech. It is brand new, never removed from the box/packaging. Included in the box is the webcam, a 6' USB cable, the software and a quick start guide. It is a 2 megapixel webcam w/autofocus @ 30 frames per second but will take up to 8 megapixel photo's. I tried to get all system requirements, specs for the item, and all other information included in the 3rd and 4th picture for you, but feel free to ask any questions that you may have. The cam itself has a universal clip on it to attach to flat panel monitors, notebook/laptop's, CRT monitors or just sit on a desktop. It also has a built-in microphone as well. I believe that it is starting at a low bid for this, especially with free shipping so, good luck to all.

thought hard about a GIN but decided to start low and give some others a chance just in case it didn't take off. Case in point, the one who got me started on this site right now is really low on points while waiting on deliveries of her closed auctions (under 100) and has already asked that if it does not end with a bidder, would I consider just selling it to her. All of the new messengers allow for video and audio instead of just typing messages back and forth, that would be the main reason I would think, but there are so many other reasons for them... some good and some not so good (or I guess that is all in how you perceive things on the internet these days) ;)

you know, I am not sure if the drivers are available for win 7... system requirements do not list win 7, I will go look for the drivers and get back to you shortly

for those who are interested, the box only lists up to win XP as a system requirement, but I just checked on Logitech . com and found that drivers for both win 7 and win 8 are available for download.

it does have the Windows Vista drivers on the installation disk, as well as XP. As far as use as a security camera, I am not sure, but I am sure that you can go to Logitech's website and find out any other uses or downloads that they may have. As a webcam, I would think that it can be set to be on, running and being captured to a file, with that file only limited to the amount of space you have upon the drive it is being captured to. But to be safe, lets just say that I am auctioning off a webcam, not a security cam !!
