Gorgeous Christmas Holiday stamps for dark inking and embossing -- looks fabulous when Versa Marked or with Perfect Pearls powders ... and I just recently tried a similar set with Tim Holtz Distress Paints and stains and they made beautiful handmade cards and scrapbook pages. I know to get my homemade Christmas cards ready in time to mail for the holiday season I have to start making them in July so decided I would put these on now in case there are other long time crafters out there. These stamps also are great for imprinting the image in polymer clay, dipping in and creating an impression in UTEE (following UTEE instructions), and creating homespun gift wrap. The little swirl pattern and star could easily be used for other party times such as birthdays .. and if you put 2 trees sideways touching end to end they suddenly become a great filigree decoration!
There's a little ink staining but it does not affect the quality of the stamp. These stamps are by Close to My Heart (if you're not familiar they are a similar company to Stampin' Up ) Theres a deer / reindeer, pine tree / Christmas tree, sock / stocking, holly leaf, star, ornament, and circle swirl designs ... total of 7 stamp lot.

F&W I have a lot of crafting supplies as I've been a crafter in multiple forms of the arts. So I use different skills to create from gourd, lamp work, stamps, paints to many more tools and supplies even jewelry I love to mix the media with creative arts and crafts. Like they do with scrapbook. :-) These stamps would make a great addition to my collection. :-) thanks for listing.

I've always wanted to try lamp work! Looks so fun. Gourd? is that decorating and altering the gourd fruit? These stamps have nice clean lines. I haven't really used them much. Watch ... a few months from now I'll be kicking myself for putting them up for auction :D

yes, I alter gourds mostly I had draw on gourds and the use gourd saw and wood burning tools plus dies. I get lazy during holiday season. So I use to put a design on gourds when I make the gourds for holiday. :-) lamp work beading simple beads are easy enough.. I'm still in practice with lamp work. :-)

When I first start lamp work, I had more broken beads then I did good ones. Now I need a new torch. I was using small torches, now I'M looking for a good one. :-)

I'm a self taught crafter. I've been crafting since I was a kid. my father use to take us to junk yards for our day out. we'd all collected junk and made stuff out of it all. my father and mothers side were creative. :-) I started small with lamp work, sm torch, glass streamers, the necessary supplies to get started. :-) I'm still not that great at it yet, I don't have the time to practice like I use to. plus I need a better touch. :-)
