Description

The listing, Memorex (mini) Mp3/CD player. has ended.

Howdy Bidders ... This auction is for a Memorex MINI CD player with mp3 decoder. It will play either mini AUDIO CDs or discs with mp3s burned as files - which will result in a longer play time over standard audio.

The unit runs on 2 AA batteries (very common!) as well as an external adapter (I do not have this).

Has a headphone output, XBBS (Extended Bass), volume control, LCD display, and play controls as you see pictured here. The unit is in very good shape.

I haven't used it for about 2 years and thought it was time to let this go - so, here you are !

The CDs and other items shown are not included, just the player, as I do not have anything for it other than a pair of batteries and one disc to test it with.

I had a 2nd disc, and I would have included that in the photos, but I cannot locate it. So, if I do find it, I might just include it (with the shipped item) since it's a small "near weightless item" and will add (essentially) nothing to the packaging.

The 3rd photo shows the size difference between a standard audio CD (Kate Wallace on 5 inch CD) as opposed to a mini 3 inch disc (DELOS Classical).

All functions appear to work, and the sound is quite good - comparable to a full sized player, but with mp3 decoding added (as a bonus).

the 2nd image shows the back of the player, so you can look up the manual by searching for model number, the 3rd is the CD sizes ...

The 4th shows a CD in the player, and how smallt hose 3 inch disks are. 5th and 6th show the player on and working.

The last photo shows the size difference between a "standard" CD player (on the left), and the Memorex player, on the right.

Please, be sure this player is what you want, as I cannot offer a refund or return - and I cannot offer free shipping - although I may offer a GIN if the situation warrants, but on the first bid, if you want a GIN, it will be too late for me to modify the auction.

Please bid fair, ask questions (oif need be, and good luck !

How easy is it to get cds for this? And do the cds fit in a regular slot to burn music onto them? Thanks

I've seen them in just about every store you can think of - Radio Shack, Best Buy, Sam's ... (I'm not sure about Fry's, but I think so). Microcenter .... they're easily found, even on Amazon and online retialers (search "mini CD-RW" or just "mini-CDR") -- most CD burners will have the "small center hole" for the discs, but they seem better suited for burning on laptops ... I wouldn't put them n a Macintosh or PC slot drive though, cuz they will get lost and stuck in the mechanism, but a drawer-type drive should accommodate the small discs
