I have a few of these. Great representation of when a countries monetary policy goes wrong. My students in America say if the government is broke why won't they just make more money. Well a country called Zimbabwe did just that and it cost a hundreds and then thousands of dollars for a loaf of bread in the span of a few days. Until people were wheel barreling millions to get groceries. Zimbabwe makes a great case study for hyper inflation and bad monetary policy. To think Zimbabwe money had more purchasing power than the US dollar not so long ago.
