This is a very good combo of rod and reel. The Procaster is a has some wear and tear on it but mechanically it is a good as ever. This was the first baitcaster I owned and it was easy to set up for any kind of bait or wind condition. I will say it works best with a medium or heavy weight crankbait or topwater lure. The riod is a medium heavy and is great to use with topwater baits.
