The listing, 1936 LANDON KNOX mini GOP Elephant President political election tiny campaign button pin pinback FDR has ended.

Offered is an authentic original very small 1/2" lithographed metal political campaign button, badge or pin that promoted Alf Landon of Kansas and Frank Knox as the Republican candidates for president and vice president in 1936 against Democrat FDR Franklin D. Roosevelt.

This pin has the elephant as symbol of the Republican party with a GOP Grand Old Party on its back as a blanket.

Please NOTE: The pin is in generally nice condition with a very clean reverse metal and original union bugs although the tiny pinback is missing, however, still great to display as an original authentic presidential political campaign item.

Thanks for commenting - the Republican party put a considerable amount of money into making and distributing campaign items to promote Landon and Knox for President and Vice President against Franklin D. Roosevelt in 1936, so some interesting items with a brown and yellow theme, likely following on the Kansas sunflower where Alf Landon was Governor
