The listing, 100 Year Old Native American San Juan Pueblo Indian Pottery Wedding Vase;Large 8"-No chips or cracks has ended.

Rare large San Juan Pueblo Wedding Vase. Approximately 100 years old give or take. I rarely find these older pieces in this large size. Amazing heirloom condition with no chips or cracks! Vessel has a – slip that has slightly sloughed off throughout time. You will still see decades of dust inside that can be cleaned out with a soft cloth. The red earthenware pottery has thick walls and is heavy. Not a light weight red ware. Measures approximately 6 ½ inches wide by 8 inches tall; Very heavy weighs 2 pounds. Would make a lovely addition to an Acoma, Hopi, Laguna, San Ildefonso, Santa Clara, Zia, or Zuni collection. I will ship with tons of packing materials in a large box with "FRAGILE" marked on all sides of the box. Delivery confirmation will be included. I will ship right away when the auction ends! :)

It has probably been passed down through the family....and they did not sign the utilitarian pieces - they would have signed any pieces sold as roadside tourist pieces. I do not see any trace of a mark on the bottom. "

This looks like an original artifact that was used by the tribe for personal use. It has probably been passed down through the family....and they did not sign the utilitarian pieces - they would have signed any pieces sold as roadside tourist pieces. I do not see any trace of a mark on the bottom.
