This is another gem from the land of long ago. A pretty simple game, but challenging and very addictive. The premise of the game is that liquid is traveling through pipes and you have to continue laying pipe so that the liquid doesn't reach the end of an unconnected pipe. It's easy at first, but the later levels really start to give you a run for your money. There is a function if you're too good for the game's own good, to speed up the liquid. You have a set start and a set finish point on the later levels, but how you get there is up to you, including loops, which offer bonus points. There are also bonus levels in which you drop the pipes from the top of the screen as they scroll left to right, the screen orientated horizontally. One wrong move and bonus round is moot. If you're good you can rack up a lot of points though. A simple game, but a good idea and very addicting in my opinion. As far as puzzle games go, this is one of the best from the NES. Give it a try, I think you'll like it.
